Ukrainian illustrator and scriber Julia Kniupa has created a diary book about life during the war. It is a small book with illustrations, containing 36 pages of memories of a trip to Ukraine in the spring.
The book is currently available in an electronic format in English. You can find it here

‘This is the format of a short visual diary I kept during my trip home. Every word and every illustration in it tells the story of the everyday life in war – stories that the world needs to hear. This book is not just about Ukraine or about me. It is about all of us, about the importance of uniting for justice and humanity. We must not allow the world to forget that the war is ongoing and we must act now,’ Julia says.
The artist is also looking for partners — publishers who would agree to publish a paper version of the book.
‘Publishers from the UK, Europe, or other countries can help us distribute this book to a wider audience. If anyone knows them, please contact us.’
